Starts with You”. Sara Fett, M.A., will present on how to foster a sense of curiosity to improve
your communication skills and build strong relationships. This presentation will include
interactive audience questions and breakout rooms for a practice exercise to compare questions
with a learning approach vs. judgmental approach, with the following learning objectives:
 Understand how emotional intelligence and self-trust influence interactions.
 Explore how questions can be utilized to enhance lives and relationships.
 Utilize a sense of curiosity to build self-confidence and promote positive interactions with
others.
Sara Fett is a Statistical Programmer Supervisor in the Department of Quantitative Health
Sciences-AZ who received her B.S. in Mathematics Education from Winona State University
and M.A. in Organizational Leadership from Saint Mary’s University. Her work focuses on
promoting a work environment and mentoring culture encouraging positivity, productivity, and
passion in all individuals. She manages and develops Statistical Programmers and
Biostatisticians as well as working with organizational leaders to define, coordinate, and lead
developmental and educational efforts.
